Methods

Grass species sampled by visual estimative cover per plot (in %). In total 80 1m? plots were sampled in 3 years in the Brazilian savanna (Itirapina Ecological Station Brazil). Sampling include two invasive grass species: Melinis minutiflora and Urochloa decumbens. Grass species sampled by visual estimative cover (in %) in 40 0.5x0.5m plots for 3 years (2009-2011). Unit of abundance = IndCountDec, Unit of biomass = NA
