Methods

Bird populations in east central Illinois fluctuations variations and development over a half-century. The site field consists of the upland site (12.6 ha) and the floodplain site (10.1 ha), both in the forest plots of Robert Allerton Park, Appendix 3. Spatial grain was the average of the two sites. Counts are taken of the number of male territories or pairs in each year provided.
