Summary: Divers swim along a 100x20m belt transect noting all fish species that are present in the transect and the water column directly above it. Sampling is limited to 30 minutes. Care is taken to search the variety of habitats (ie. Bottom, midwater, under ledges, at the surface, etc.) and to not double count the same individual fish.
