Methods

Sampling was done 11 times from 1921 to 2011 in 20 permanent 5-m radius circle plots. All vascular plants were determined and in 20 subplots the cover was estimated to provide abundance of each species. This dataset originated from IKS, but was truncated by Pilotto et al. to plots: 9, 8, 13, 14 and 15 because they were the most regularly surveyed during the study period.
