Methods
The soil, vegetation, and other aspects are the same as the comprehensive observation field, but it is not enclosed and experiences light grazing. There is no management. The observation field has an area of 50m x 100m, forming a square shape.
In the middle of the observation field, a transect of 10m x 100m is established.
Observation objective: Spatial distribution pattern of desert plant communities.
Biological sampling: The transect is divided equally into 10 plots of 10m x 10m for surveying. The surveys are conducted in mid-August each year.
